Fruit Juice

Diabetes patients should not drink fruit juice. Fruit juice has a high amount of sugar which can make diabetes even more terrible. In diabetes, whole fruits should be eaten instead of fruit juice because whole fruits contain fiber and carbohydrates which reduces the effect of sugar.

Deep Fry

One should avoid eating samosas, kachoris, puris, pakoras, pizzas, noodles, etc. fried in oil. It increases body weight which is not good for diabetic patients. Therefore, things fried in oil should be avoided. Ghee and coconut oil, etc., should be removed from the diabetic diet plan.


The diabetic patient should stay away from sweet things as much as possible. Eating sweet things in diabetes increases the blood sugar level. Sweet foods should not be eaten like sugar, sugarcane, jaggery, chocolate, candy, cake ice cream, and sweets. Apart from this, there is fat in sweet things which increases body weight, which increases the effect of diabetes even more.


Eating dried raisins is very beneficial for health, but diabetic patients should not eat raisins. It increases the amount of sugar in our body, which increases the problem of diabetics.


Sweet fruits like banana, mango, litchi, watermelon, grapes, Chiku, custard apple, etc. should be avoided. These fruits have a high amount of sugar which makes the disease of diabetes worse.


Avoid potatoes, jackfruit, sweet potato, beetroot vegetables. They increase the amount of sugar in the blood.


Avoid eating chicken.

White Rice

Rice should not be consumed much. Especially do not eat new white rice.


Do not consume alcohol, beer, coffee, etc.
