GAME of THRONES Season 8 Episode 5 Review
Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5 is out now, the semi-final episode of the cult Game of Thrones is an active trip. Yup, you heard it right, more than the emotional turmoil that Game of Thrones is known for, the parting episodes are somewhere lacking in terms of storytelling, and NO we do not hate the show.
Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5 takes us to the King’s Landing, where Dany flies on her dragon Raegor and burns the whole city, now this has come up as a surprise, since we know Dany as someone who likes to win the hearts of people in order to rule them, so mercy to the citizens of King’s Landing was an obvious thing to do, but it is Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5, and even after Jamie manages to ring the bell, Daenerys Targaryen destroys the whole city.
We said it is a bollywoodish episode for two reasons, first of all like many of the Bollywood films Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5 also has really nice scenes, from a cinematic point of view they are spectacular. Especially the city burning, and the scene where Raegor appears out of the darkness from behind Dany to burn the master whisperer Lord Vareys, for his treason.

Besides this point, another thing making Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5 very much like Bollywood film is the end result of the fight between Jamie Lannister and Euron Greyjoy.
One of the most irritating and annoying characters ever created in Game of Thrones Season is Euron Greyjoy, he is obnoxious anyway, but what makes him even more annoying is the fact that he got to kill one of the dragons, and that is quite a fleet for a minute character like Euron.
Coming back to my point, Euron stabs Jamie and eventually Jamie also manages to kill Euron Grejoy, and Euron dies with the words, “I am the man who killed Jamie Lannister”. First of all this fight was pointless, secondly Jamie does not die until he reaches to Cersei, takes her to the safe passage and manages to die with her under the bricks falling upon them, such naive use of poetic license, and they have done this quite a lot in Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5, and Game of Thrones Season 8 .
In Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 4, they had shown the iron fleet killing the dragon and Dany losing her shit, she did not know how to react on that battlefield, but in Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5 Dany comes with only one Dragon and manages to defy all the arrows coming towards her, also defying logic, we just keep wondering, “Why couldn’t she do this in the fourth episode?”, and as we sail very Bollywood like, to create the buzz and to have that masala in, logic is kicked out of the box.
But overall Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5 is a fun episode, it is the end now, let us hope for better. Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5 also concluded the Hound vs Gregor thingy, Cersei and Jamie are dead, Arya is probably leaving everything behind since episode 5 ends with her on a white horse.
